Hi Munchworms!
This week’s topic for The Broke and the Bookish‘s Top Ten Tuesday is “Book wish Fall / Autumn covers”.
I never really thought about covers as fitting a certain season, so I had some fun trying to find covers that instantly gave me that Fall feeling!
As usual, every picture is the link to Goodreads so you can read the blurbs and add them to your TBR if you like!
I went with books I read and books that are on my physical TBR for this one.
What do you think; did I pick covers you don’t agree on?
Tell me why!
If you’ve missed it, be sure to check our my Christmas Card Exchange!
And my monthly challenge for November: Remember November!
Yes, yes, I’ve been a busy bee..

Such fun covers! Very evocative of the season. I especially love the WICKED LIKE WILDFIRE one.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

They do, don’t they? Still have to get my hands on a copy of An Enchantment of Ravens. Simply because of the cover, haha.

I love your picks! My favorite of the Fallish covers are the ones that have a spooky element and you’ve got that in spades! The Miniaturist has been on my TBR for ages and Spellbook of Lost and Found looks amazing.

Thank you!
I haven’t read The Miniaturist either but I’ll get to it eventually. Spellbook of the Lost and Found was confusing at first because of all the characters, but I did enjoy it!

Spellbook of the Lost and Found and Roar both have that autumn-y vibe, seems to me. I like that cover of Name of the Wind too.

Nice cover choices. I think The Miniaturist could fit either fall or spring. The hints of blue on the cover make me think of the crisp blue skies I typically see in both of those seasons.

The Raven Boys and Nevernight are perfect!
And Nevernight is on my TBR for the House Reading Challenge! Haha

I should probably do that as well since I’ve been looking for an excuse to pick it up! Although I did mention Wonder Woman for the epic heroine challenge.. Hm.. I have no clue YET if it would fit any of the other challenges. :’)

Haha, same! Initially I had three of four with birds on it, but decided to have some more variety. :’D

Great list! The Miniaturist is such a good book to read in the autumn, I’m looking forward to the BBC adaptation coming soon. =)

I read those books over the couple last months and when I read “fall” I immediately thought of those books, haha. All the covers are simply gorgeous and pretty much fit in my eyes. 🙂

I totally agree with The Time Travelers Wife. That’s definitely got an autumn cover feel to it! There’s something really quaint about kids shoes with white socks, and the filter brings it back to autumn.

There is, isn’t it? That one really jumped at me and practically screamed “fall” when I was looking for these covers, haha.

I think you captured the fall feeling well. There’s a hint of sadness, right? Change? Even death? But also some beauty in the passing?
