  1. Very nice. I hope you enjoy your nice long break and get lots of reading done. My week hasn’t been the greatest so far, but I’m hoping it will get better.

I recently read some Avatar comics and some My Hero Academia manga, and I am currently reading The Forgotten Book by Mechthilde Glaser, and Gunslinger Girl by Lyndsay Ely. I don’t know exactly what I’ll be reading next, but it will probably be something off my Diverse December TBR list.

    1. I hope so too! I really want to get through a ton of my books during my time off.
Ooh, that’s a shame! I hope it’ll get better too!

Gunslinger Girl has such a gorgeous cover. That’s like the first thought in my head whenever I hear that title somewhere. 😀

    2. I just keep telling myself that I have one more week to get through and then I’ll get like 10 days off work for the holidays.

I’ve only read a few chapters so far but Gunslinger Girl is pretty darn interesting. It’s like a Western, but set in what feels like a near future society.

    3. Haha, it’s my second day off from work now and I’m already having a hard time with doing everything I want to do. I mainly want to read, read, read but life keeps getting in the way – and chores as well.

      Oh, that definitely sounds interesting!

    1. I really liked it! It was original! Can’t wait for Marie Lu’s story on Batman though, haha.

So far so good; it’s really revolving around grief. I think I’m going to need some time to collect my thoughts on We Are Okay once I finish it. It’s a short book, but it’s a lot to take in either way. At least for me it is.

    2. Yes but that is a sign of a good book if you have to collect your thoughts after finishing it. I just did that for Simon Vs. The Homo sapiens Agenda and wrote a post about it that will be published tomorrow. That books just opened up the floodgates of deep thoughts about teenage life and how people who are coming out must feel.
