Hi Munchworms!

Welcome to the last Top Ten Tuesday hosted byย The Broke and the Bookish! Starting next week, Top Ten Tuesday will move toย That Artsy Reader Girl.

The last topic is “Books I wanted to read in 2017 but didn’t get to!”

There’s a whole lot of those, so I tried picking a couple that I really look forward to reading even though it won’t be this month.ย Otherwise, this would just be my January Jam Jar TBR all over again…

  1. I’ve been putting off The Book Thief because I’ve been told that it’s going to destroy me emotionally, but every year I get that little bit closer to picking it up anyway. Hopefully we’ll both get around to reading it in 2018!

    1. Books that destroy you emotionally are both the best and the worst at the same time, haha. I can’t help but look forward to getting destroyed sometimes because that means it’s going to have a huge impact on me!
      Fingers crossed! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I’ve been dying to buy and read The Power, it sounds like such an excellent and well-written novel. I just never get the chance to do it! But I’m positive I’ll do it this year! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Daughter of the Burning City and Nevernight are definitely books I want to read in 2018! I’ve heard such good things about them and I really hope to get to them soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Same here! Though Stalking Jack the Ripper is one of the books highest on my list right now, haha. I’m too curious about Hunting Prince Dracula; never mind the Houdini-sequel that’s coming our way!
