WWW: March 7th

Hi Munchworms!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words where you answer three fixed questions. But first, something else.

Last week I had a bit of a bad update for you guys, this week’s is even worse since my little dog died on Monday. It’ll be so weird heading to my mom and not seeing him anymore and I’ve been having a rough time since but I’m distracting myself as much as I can and it’s helping – although I still randomly start crying but I’m coping.

Thank you all so much for your support. I know I haven’t replied to most of your comments yet but I’m going to try and do that today. Just know that, even though I haven’t replied, I’m so grateful that you guys are there for me.

What are you currently reading?

Days of Blood & Starlight (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #2)Make or BreakA Wrinkle in Time

What did you recently finish reading?

Champion (Legend, #3)Reach for the Stars: A feel good, uplifting romantic comedyConsort of Secrets (The Witch's Consorts #1)Daughter of the Siren Queen (Daughter of the Pirate King, #2)

Guys, do check out my review for Consort of Secrets! That one surprised me in the best way and is so unique, being a reverse harem paranormal romance!

What are you reading next?

I’m still battling my eARC’s like crazy, but I think I might be picking up Tower of Dawn next. Or one of the hundred contemporary’s on my March TBR. That’s another option. We’ll see!

Here’s my current overview of eARC’s – I think I have a romance-overload on my hands..

Love ConnectionSometime After MidnightThe OneOwl Eyes: A Fairy Tale
Sticks and StonesThis Is Just My Face: Try Not to StareYou, Me, Everything

I cleaned my apartment yesterday so I should be able to get a lot of reading done today. Fingers crossed!

How’s your reading going? What have you read so far in March?

  1. Oh no, I am so sorry to hear about your dog. 😢😢 Our pets are not just pets, they are family. Hang in there, sending lots of love your way. ❤️
I’ve had a slow reading start of the month. I just finished reading A Thousand Perfect Notes and Sticks and Stone. Two equally disturbing but also enjoyable books.

    1. Exactly that! Pets are such big parts of our lives for so long; they can hardly be anything less than family. Thank you. ❤
So jealous you got to read A Thousand Perfect Notes! I'll have to wait for the release, haha. Sticks and Stones by Jo Jakeman? I've been looking forward to reading that one but had to give priority to other books first.

  2. Aww, sorry about your doggie 😦 ❤

I remember when my kitty died, i cried for a week. And the other day i found a video of him, and then i cried again, even tho it happened over a year ago.

  3. I’m so sorry to hear about your loss.. I’ve been through it twice already :-(. At first it’ll be painful to remember those good times but after a while you’ll be happy you have them to cherish. So many lovely covers! You, Me, Everything is on my wishlist as well!

    1. Thank you. It definitely hurts. Especially when visiting my mom. I’m so used to the little fluff jumping my legs and now it’s so.. quiet.. 😦
Ooh, I’m eager to get started on that one! Eventually, haha. Too many books to read.. But what’s new, right.
