WWW

Hi Munchworms!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words where you answer three fixed questions.

My reading’s been going well, if I do say to myself. I’ve been reading a ton of eARC’s and – of course… – I’ve also been requesting a ton of them. Fighting the eternal ARC-battle! I really need to stop doing that so I can focus on my own books for a bit but I’m failing and failing and failing some more, haha.

What are you currently reading?

Days of Blood & Starlight (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #2)A Wrinkle in Time

The day I actually finish Days of Blood and Starlight is the day I’ll reward myself with a new book.. It’s been on my “currently reading” since December..

What did you recently finish reading?

Make or BreakThe OneOwl Eyes: A Fairy Tale

Read only eARC’s the past week, yay!

What are you reading next?

Well.. Hopefully some of my own books? To get the pressure off my eARC’s for a bit, I’d have to read A Year of Taking Chances and You, Me, Everything since those are both being published in April, so I might do that. But I also really want to read Tower of Dawn – not to mention Obsidio when it finally arrives!

Love ConnectionSometime After MidnightRegrets (Follow Your Heart #2)Paris Ever After
Sticks and StonesThis Is Just My Face: Try Not to StareYou, Me, Everything

I still haven’t received my copy of Obsidio.. Like, why do I even pre-order it if it doesn’t get here the day it’s published?
How is your reading going? Any weird mood-reading going on lately?

Yep

  1. I relate to not getting your pre-ordered book in time so much… the struggles of living in Europe, man :’)

Woah, those are a lot of books! I relate to having a book on your CR shelf for ages- I’ve had Wuthering Heights on mine for hell knows how long by this point tbh :’)

Lovely books with lovely covers! Great post 💛

    1. Right?! It’s horrible. You’d think they’d have plenty of time to figure something out so everyone gets it on time but noooo.

Haha, I think we all have those periods where a book keeps sitting on the CR. :’) I’m just going with “As long as there aren’t any books like that on it on December 31st, I’m good” but we’ll have to wait and see about that one. :’)

      Thank you! ❤

    1. Aren’t you always the odd duck?!
Okay, no. I’m not really loving it either. I like the overall story but that’s about it. Maybe if I’d read it a couple of years ago – like, when I was 13 or 14? – I would’ve liked it better. Now it’s just “meh” but I do think the movie might be a fun watch though!
[I feel so old right now.. Like, 13 is 12 years ago..]

    1. I’m honestly convinced that childhood me would’ve liked A Wrinkle In Time waaay more than current me does, haha. I am looking forward to the movie though! Reading the book made me realize they could make a darn good movie out of it!
