First things first: I REACHED 1.000 FOLLOWERS AND I AM SO RIDICULOUSLY GRATEFUL. You know me, so watch out for a huge giveaway – I’m still figuring it all out but there will be one, just saying. If you want to maybe win a book…
Anyway. The lovely and sweet and amazing Andie @ Andrea’s Nirvana tagged me for this award halfway through March – I am the worst at these tags and awards. Apparently she thinks I have an entertaining blog! Why, thank you, girl!

THE QUESTIONS
What genre did you read most before starting your blog?
Fantasy and romance were my main genres back then. Now it’s a combination of fantasy, contemporary and the occasional romance / chick lit.
What genre did fellow bloggers influence your opinion on?
Contemporary, without a doubt! It’s a genre I heard of, knew of but… wasn’t necessarily interested in? That was until I found out how many diversity authors are incorporating in their YA Contemporaries nowadays though. I sold my soul for those by now.
Fave book format?
Hardcovers! They just look so pretty, okay?
Plants without flowers or plants that have flowers?
I hate plants. And flowers. Sue me. It’s just not me. The fact that they all die around me might have something to do with that as well but I simply don’t like them at all. No plants, no flowers. Thank you!
Some tropes you love seeing in books?
There aren’t any tropes I have real issues with – except the overdone and in-your-face kind of insta-love. [Not every insta-love, but literally the ones where they meet and HEY I LOVE YOU. No. Just no.]
A trope I absolutely love.. Sorry, but.. Falling for the bad boy. I have a thing for bad boys. Or simply guys who look like bad boys but are actually sweethearts. [Hi, boyfriend.]
A book character you relate to a lot?
Ha! Oh boy. Uhm. Alosa from Daughter of the Pirate King / Siren Queen, I guess. She has the sass, the attitude, the sarcasm. Not to mention she’s anything but afraid to take care of her own business and that pretty much equals me? If only she could be bisexual as well that would be perfect. So, so perfect.
On that account, I’m hoping to relate to Leah in Leah on the Offbeat even more but time will tell! I simply have to get my hands on a copy so I can find out…
Since this is a small amount of questions, I’m tagging everybody who’s reading this! Just make sure to link back to my post so I can check out your answers – and also so I can maybe discover some more blogs, you know?!
How was your weekend? Did you read a lot? Did anything special? Bought new books?! Tell me all about it!
Kathy

Of darned course you have an entertaining blog! And aghh same with the hardcovers !! Sorry to hear plants aren’t your thing, I love me a cactus or a succulent 🙈💛

Hahaha. My boyfriend’s palm tree drives me nuts. The thing simply takes in place I NEED. And I can barely move the thing when I want to clean and UGH. We do have some tiny, tiny cacti.. [that’s the plural, right?] and one larger one. The latter has grown.. pretty much horizontally in order to try and grow towards the light? I keep forgetting to move the stupid pot around so it’ll go a bit more straight. :’) [But, like, it isn’t mine so I shouldn’t even bother with it? :’)]

Palm tree? Hell, ain’t nobody got time for that. Yep, that’s the plural! (and what a cute plural istg it looks and sounds adorable)
The poor cactus! Give it some light :<

Hahaha; I have to admit cacti does sound cute. Way cuter than cactus. Comparing the two makes the latter even more ugly.
But it’s getting light! It just.. has to bend a bit.. to reach it.. :’)

Congratulations on your followers! That’s so exciting! ❤
I completely relate with other bloggers influencing me to try reading contemporary novels. I wasn't especially interested in this genre beforehand, but after so many people told me to read books from this genre, I gave it a shot, and was pleasantly surprised!

Exactly! I felt like it would be way too much of the "loveydovey" stuff for me, but in the end I'm all about the fluffy cuteness and the diversity going on in contemporary, haha.
Peer pressure / blogging pressure / bookworm pressure is amazing at times! [I don't even know what exactly to call it.]

Congrats on the followers! Well deserved 🙂
I went nuts in the charity shop again…left with like 10 new books 😀

Haha, oh lord. So jealous! Charity shops over here rarely have any English books and if they do, they're.. not the ones I'm interested in at all. :')

Wow, congratulations on the followers, this is amazing! 😀 And ugh, insta-love is the worst, especially when it happens in like, ONE SINGLE SENTENCE. I hate that haha.

Right?! Like, I can totally handle attraction from the bat. Our eyes and drool are connected for every single one of us on that account; but that's something else entirely compared to "OH I LOVE YOU." 😛

I did not read a lot over the weekend, but we managed to build a fence, so that’s good 😉
