I saw Misty posting the longest books on her TBR and, honestly, it made me want to do the reverse! We all have those books that are simply stuck on our TBR’s for ages and sometimes it’s because of there size. I’m definitely giving It the stink-eye here although that’s also to do with.. clowns..
Anyway. Because of her post, I actually wondered what the shortest books on my TBR are. If I figure that out, maybe I’ll get tempted to pick them up sooner? Can’t lose anything by trying it out, right?
I think I can conclude that there are a lot of classics in my top ten shortest books? Which pretty much equals the whole thing being one huge lie since the font of those four books is tiny – trust me, I checked. Cheaters!
Now these five I can live with. Sure, I can’t read Unite Me until I started the actual series, but… I might just be tempted to make my way through Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The Time Traveler’s Wife and World Mythology in Bite-Sized Chunks are also two books I’ve been eyeing for a while.. Maybe.. Just maybe..
And just for the sake of it, here are the five biggest monsters on my TBR:
I don’t know how I should feel about the fact that four out of five are King-novels…
I do love these leather-bound editions.. They’re so pretty and smooth and…
Okay, my conclusion is pretty much that this post didn’t motivate me as much as I thought it would to pick up some shorter books. Shorter doesn’t equal “easy to fly through”, especially when it comes to classics? And since I’m not a classics-reading gal, I’m just bound to take forever reading those…
Do you have any idea what the shortest or longest book on your TBR is?
Or maybe the most popular? The lowest rating?
Tell me all about it!
