WWW Wednesday

Well, I didn’t post last week since I was in Scotland – oh the books I bought, guys! – which means you’ll get a two week-update this time around!  I didn’t really read all that much though. I’m starting to think this mood-reading month is turning in a “let’s take some time off reading”-month.
Which is not what I planned for, but hey.

Current read

The CallThe Trans Generation: How Trans Kids (and Their Parents) Are Creating a Gender RevolutionCurtsies & Conspiracies (Finishing School, #2)

The Call is stuck, yay! I started The Trans Generation back when I was in Scotland. I’m going through it very, very slowly since it’s a lot of information – I’m so not used to non-fiction… – but it’s very interesting and it gives me so much insight in.. a whole lot of aspects really.

Finished reading

Tower of Dawn (Throne of Glass, #6)The Art of French KissingA Court of Frost and Starlight (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3.1)
UnboxedNerveEtiquette & Espionage (Finishing School, #1)

I did good, didn’t I?! Finally read Tower of Dawn and I’m so ready for the next installment! The Art of French Kissing is an awesome read if you love food and food shows – MasterChef anyone? -, A Court of Frost and Starlight was a fun read, but… I thought it to be pretty uneventful? Unboxed is a beautiful, short story about childhood friends reminiscing and coming clean about things. Nerve is a book I picked up simply because I loved the movie so much – I even think I like the movie better, the horror! And then we have Etiquette & Espionage. Liked it enough to continue the series!

Reading next

I’ll probably try and binge the Finishing School-series and maybe squeeze in a YALC-read, since I have a whole pile of those… But we’ll see what I’m in the mood for!

Waistcoats & Weaponry (Finishing School, #3)A Quiet Kind of Thunder

ARC overview

One Day in DecemberBrave EnoughThis Is Just My Face: Try Not to StareThe Adults
Twice Dead (The Necromancer's Song, #1)Cinderella BoyBeast: A Tale of Love and Revenge
The Unbinding of Mary ReadeThe Raging Ones (The Raging Ones, #1)

Have you read the Finishing School-series?
Did you read / saw Nerve? Which one did you like best?
And how has life been lately?! I missed you guys!

  1. This is an awesome list! I just picked up a copy of Just found your blog today and looking forward to seeing more of your content! 🙂 I loved the Nerve movie too, lol.

  2. I’m excited for ACOFAS – just need to find the time to fit it in – but I’ve heard the same thing a lot: it’s fun but nothing earth-shattering. One of these I’ll pick up the ToG series again. I read ToG a couple years ago and wasn’t blown away. Everyone kept telling me that each book got better and to stick with it but… I just never did.

    1. It isn’t really. I feel like it’s simply a filler. It’s fun to read, true, but I was missing Maas-action and -events, really.
Oh, I love the ToG books! My favorite is still Queen of Shadows though. 🙂

    1. I really should try to continue it. It’s been on my current reads for over a month [maybe even two?] now..
I wish I could just buy my books in bookstores but they hardly have any English books left that I’m interested in buying, haha.
      Thank you!
