The end of May is upon us and that means it’s time to set up our TBR’s for the upcoming month. In my case, this means time to take a look at the books I want to reread [more like, the books I planned on rereading this year] and use those for my TBR!
If you’ve missed my post, just click here to check out my June challenge: Jazzy June!
Without further ado, let’s take a look at the books I want to reread.
First, my biggest reread goal this year: HARRY POTTER
Even though they’re rereads, it’ll be my first time actually reading them in English – except for the first two, which I’ve read the English illustrated editions of.
Good luck with your TBR! I really need to reread Harry Potter sometime, because I too have only reread the first two books in English but not the rest of the Series ๐

Thanks! It’s going amazing so far!
Haha, it’s so weird actually knowing all the names in English now. Sometimes I can’t even remember the Dutch ones anymore? Reading them in English erases the Dutch! xD

I was thinking about bringing HP on my honeymoon at the end of the month! And probably Game of Thrones as well since I dropped it for some new releases ๐

Oooh, honeymoon! Congratulations and have fuuuun! ๐
Hahaha. I know the feeling. I’ve finally managed to clear my current reads, but I’m bound to drop one eventually to read some new release. ๐

OOOOOH.
Reading it for the first time is always so special – and ignore all the people getting on your case for not having read it yet, haha.
I hope you love it! โค

Haha yeah man I have never been interested in the premise of Harry Potter and whatever others have been saying, but those hogwart houses books were sooooo damn attractive I just had to sort myself into a house and get one hahah
Iโm gryffindor btw ๐

Those Hogwart Houses are tempting for everyone, I’ve noticed, haha. Especially if you have some friends who read the books and get on your case about what House you’re in!
WHOOP. GRYFFINDOR โค

Ohh happy re-reading! I haven’t re-read the Harry Potter books….. ever, I think?! Maybe I should someday haha I’d be curious to hear what I think when I re read them. Let me know how it goes! ๐

I’m only two chapters in and I’m already completely.. nostalgic for more? Like. I know I’m bad at series but if I don’t succeed at bingeing this, I’m going to be ridiculously disappointed in myself, haha.

I’m going to reread the first Harry Potter book in June for this challenge. It will be my 4th or 5th read of the book.

Ha, awesome! I don’t even know how many times I’ve read the first one, but it’ll be only my second time reading it in English. ๐

Iโve been dying to re read Harry Potter. But I have so many in my TBR Iโm struggling to get around to all of them.
How did you find Leah on The Off Beat?

I’ve made sure to be caught up on all my ARC’s in time for this month’s challenge, haha. ๐
I absolutely loved it! I could recognize a lot of myself in Leah, so that was amazing.

I loved her character! I recently watched the movie, Love, Simon – I liked the way Kathrine Langford played Leah, but she wasnโt what I pictured!

I honestly was.. mad about the choice for Leah? Like.. Leah is supposed to represent the plus-sized community.. That was the ONLY thing I didn’t agree on in the movie and that genuinely made me mad, haha.

EXACTLY. So irritating. Like I said, she did a good job, but it was notttt true to character.

Yeah, of course! I love her as an actress but she just wasn’t right to play Leah. [Oh the frustrations..]

Was Leah on the Offbeat good? I have seen it at bookstores and been tempted to buy it because I loved Simon Vs The Homosapiens Agenda so much.

I absolutely adore Leah on the Offbeat – even more so than Simon, simply because I connected with Leah so, so much. Like, take Leah, minus Slytherin, plus Gryffindor, minus the drumming and.. that’s pretty much me in a book, haha.

Haha Ok I will probably end up getting it because Simon was soo good. And I don’t want the story to end. I like the set of characters and I want to continue reading about them ๐
