[Sci-Fi] July TBR

My Goodness. Can you imagine we’re halfway through the year? HALFWAY? It blows my mind every time I think about it – time’s flying by and I feel like I haven’t even done half the things I wanted to do this year?! I can’t be the only one. Or maybe I am. Maybe others have done so many awesome things already, ticked off plenty of their yearly goals while I’m struggling to remember what my goals are in the first place? I’m being overly dramatic here, I know.

You all know my monthly challenges by now, so you might’ve seen that July is all about science fiction. If you haven’t, you can go check out this post to see what it’s all about!
I hope you know that my challenges aren’t meant to be focused on for the entire month. Simply reading one book will do! Which is… Probably what I’m going to do since I’m ridiculously behind on my YALC TBR… Oops.

Anyway! Let’s get going and see what’s on my TBR for July!!

First off, I’m simply going to share all the sci-fi on my shelves because I’ve no clue what I’m going to read. I’ll just pick one up when the mood strikes me. And this way, you get to see some of the books on my TBR, right?

Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1)Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1)Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1)The Pledge (The Pledge, #1)
Defy the Stars (Constellation, #1)The Time Traveler's WifeLIFEL1K3 (Lifelike, #1)Under the Dome
The CallThe PowerFrankenstein

And this is how I discover I have way more science fiction on my shelves than I initially thought? Oops.

Other books I really should read because… YALC…

Super AwkwardTruly Madly AwkwardThe Sin Eater's Daughter (The Sin Eater's Daughter, #1)The Sleeping Prince (The Sin Eater’s Daughter, #2)The Scarecrow Queen (The Sin Eater’s Daughter, #3)
I Was Born for ThisThe Art of Being NormalNoah Can't EvenAll About MiaAlice (The Chronicles of Alice, #1)

Before I forget: here’s the current overview of my ARC’s I have yet to read. So.. those too – and the people with a good memory might see that nothing has changed here. Don’t know whether that’s good or bad? Probably both.

One Day in DecemberBrave EnoughThe AdultsMy Whole Truth
I Do Not Trust YouThe Lion Tamer Who LostTwice Dead (The Necromancer's Song, #1)

What’s on your TBR? Are you going to YALC?
Joining any reading challenges or readathons?

  1. These look great! I am a big fan of scifi and am always looking for new suggestions, can’t wait to see your thoughts! I am really excited for The Disasters by M.K. England, it looks like a great scifi read but unfortunately doesn’t come out for a few months

  2. AHHH what a TBR, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on so many of these books, especially Shatter me -because I love this series – and Scythe, because I really want to read it at some point, too, haha 🙂 x

  3. I haven’t done anything (work/study) this year, so I’m for one eager to get back to uni in September and stop feeling useless – that’s probably the only reason I’m not freaked out about being so far into the year 😀 But I still have two months and so many reading challenges to go first.

The Time Traveler’s Wife definitely sounds like a book that would be interesting. And Angelfall is one that I’d really like to read!! Also I just can’t wait for it to be tomorrow so I can start reading for my July challenges T___T This waiting is the worst.

  4. Ha, I remember some of these TBRs from previous posts. I do the same thing! Sometimes I get so excited for a book but never actually, you know, read them. I only read when the mood strikes me as well, and moods can be so unpredictable!

    1. It’s the worst, haha! I wish I could simply knock off my entire TBR every time I set one but I FAIL. Totally agree though! When you’re a mood-reader, TBR’s are a huge, giant challenge!
