FREAKING OUT – WWW: July 25th

WWW Wednesday

Yup, I’m saying it again. I’m leaving for YALC tomorrow, if all goes well that is. I’m looking forward to it, but dreading it at the same time. This hot weather – stupid heat wave – is definitely not agreeing with me. I’ve no clue what I’m getting myself in for and I can only pray it won’t be as exhausting as I’m anticipating. If it is, consider this girl melted..

But, let’s ignore the heat for a minute or two and see what I’ve been up to reading-wise!

As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!

Current read

Fatale BeloftesHarry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Harry Potter, #6)The Adults

Didn’t read anymore in The Adults, but I did start Fatale Beloftes – Fatal Promises in English – since that one has been on my shelf for ages now! The author is actually the person who introduced me to the bookblogging community so me picking up her book is long overdue.

Finished reading

The Art of Being NormalThe Sin Eater's Daughter (The Sin Eater's Daughter, #1)Alice (The Chronicles of Alice, #1)Super AwkwardThe Pledge (The Pledge, #1)

Noah Can't EvenI read a whole lot of books! Yay!
Unfortunately, I also have to add how I DNF’d one book. I just couldn’t handle it. Noah Can’t Even by Simon James Green. I cannot for the life of me connect with Noah. He gets on my nerves all the time. Instead of a sixteen year old, he feels like a ten year old who cannot – at all – have one proper conversation.

Reading next

With me going to London, to YALC, I’m not even thinking about my next read right now. I think I’ll stick with my current reads and try to finish those – and then dive into one of the books I’ll probably haul?!

ARC overview

One Day in DecemberHarshvilleMy Whole TruthImber (Thanatos Trilogy #1)Oliver and Erica: When Friends become Lovers
I Do Not Trust YouThe Lion Tamer Who LostTwice Dead (The Necromancer's Song, #1)Do Not Disturb

How has your reading been in the past week?
Anything exciting at the top of your TBR?
