Weekly reading update, one day late – OOPS – WWW: August 8th

WWW Wednesday

It’s hectic, okay?! Maybe not. Maybe yesterday was simply a lazy day and I totally forgot about posting my weekly reading update.. Yup, that’s it. Sorry about that. But better late than never, right?

Let’s take a look at what I read this past week!

As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!

Current read

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Harry Potter, #6)A Man Called OveDo Not Disturb

Harry Potter is stuck. I did read a couple of chapters but keep getting distracted by other books. And I got my N.E.W.T.’s to tick off! So, right now I’m reading A Man Called Ove most of the time. When I feel like reading on my Kindle / phone, Do Not Disturb is my pick. I’m not that far in yet though.
People have constantly warned me about Backman’s book being one to get me crying and I can already see why! Preparing myself to break down eventually, haha.

Finished reading

FangirlKitchen Princess: Search for the Angel CakeOut of the BlueNorthern Lights (His Dark Materials, #1)

I started August off in a good way, didn’t I?!

Reading next

I keep grabbing my N.E.W.T.’s-post to see what I should read next. This time it would be:

Hollow City (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, #2)The Lion Tamer Who Lost

ARC overview

HarshvilleMy Whole TruthImber (Thanatos Trilogy #1)Oliver and Erica: When Friends become Lovers
I Do Not Trust YouThe Lion Tamer Who LostTwice Dead (The Necromancer's Song, #1)

How’s your reading going?

  1. I haven’t read much yet because of my exams but as soon as they get over I want to read Vicious by VE Schwab.
I have heard really good things about A Man called Ove! Hope I get to read it soon 😊

    1. Ooh, good luck with those! Hope they’re going well. 🙂
I haven’t read a thing of Schwab’s work yet – shame on me. I plan on reading the ADSOM-books soon though!

The funny thing about that book is how you seriously have no clue what it’s about by reading the blurb. Even two / three chapters in, I still didn’t know. Now I do, somewhat, but it’s so.. different from other books! 🙂
