WWW Wednesday

I don’t even feel like it’s Wednesday. My brain keeps trying to convince me the weekend is upon us but IT IS NOT. And it’s torture, really. But that’s okay. We’re used to it, aren’t we?!
Anyway. Last week, I made these two huge announcements – of which one is phenomenally huge, doh – and then.. noticed earlier this week how comments were turned off and I felt so bad about that! Not because I wanted to drown in “Congratulations!”-messages, but more like.. Because I asked you to guess something and you all didn’t get the opportunity to? So if you still want to, comments are on now!

But enough of that. Let’s check out this week’s reading update!

As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!

Current read

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Harry Potter, #6)Library of Souls (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #3)The Subtle Knife (His Dark Materials, #2)Twice Dead (The Necromancer's Song, #1)

I feel like I’m already doing Sequel September when seeing these books here.. But I’m not! I’m just trying to get all the N.E.W.T.’s I want – and failing. Then I started Twice Dead because I wasn’t feeling the sequels and then.. well.. I’m not feeling any of these books at the moment. I’m in a huge fluff mood and I’ll probably give into it by the end of today – sorry.

Finished reading

Legendary (Caraval, #2)Sometime After Midnight

I read these two ABSOLUTE BEAUTIES OF BOOKS. Love, love, love them. Sometime After Midnight was all the fluff I need right now – seriously, it is. Click the cover and check it out! Legendary definitely didn’t disappoint either. I flew through that book like no tomorrow. Now, where’s the sequel?!

Reading next

So, in the absolutely impossible case of me finishing those books on my current reads, The Lion Tamer Who Lost is supposed to be my next read but.. Let’s be real and realize I’m simply going to jump into my September TBR with all the sequels – hopefully. And I’ve yet to draft that post so who knows what sequel?!

How’s your week been?
Are you ready for September to start? Starting school (again)? Or maybe it’s the start of something else entirely for you? Let’s talk all about it!

  2. Of these, I’ve only read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and it was a tough one for me to get into as well. Good book though.

My kids started school this month. My older child even started college. *sigh* Other than that, bring on September because I have friends coming to visit in October! 🙂

    1. I love all the HP’s, but.. I don’t know. With this one it got on my nerves how it took ages for them to arrive at Hogwarts, haha.

I can’t even imagine what that’s like yet! We’ll see in a couple of years how that goes, haha.
Friends visiting is always fun! And October is such a fun month to plan stuff in to, with autumn hopping along. Enjoy!

  3. I know how you feel. I’m not feeling any of my current reads atm either. But I feel bad starting a new read because I feel like I’m just building the number of books on my currently reading shelf???
