IT’S BEEN A HECTIC WEEK – WWW: November 21st

WWW Wednesday

Hectic might even be an understatement. As you all know, we signed the last papers for our house and got the keys. This pretty much equals us going nuts and visiting the house every time we simply feel like it – even though moving in there definitely is not happening. Yet. We did spend the entire weekend going from store to store – finally creating our birth list and then going on light fixture hunt!
So.. Basically this is me trying to explain why I haven’t read all that much, haha.

Let’s see how this week went reading-wise!

As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!

Current read

The Book ThiefHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter, #7)The Art of Baking Blind

I made progress on both The Book Thief and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! I’ve been reading a bit in the first and have listened to the latter at work quite often when my tasks allow me to. I also picked up The Art of Baking Blind since I needed something light in between. People who’ve read the first two books will definitely understand that? I hope?

Finished reading

The Accidental Beauty QueenIn Another Life

I finished two eARC’s and I’m pretty happy with that?! Although I’d be more happy should I have finished some of my current reads since those have been on there for a while now but hey.

Reading next

Imber (Thanatos Trilogy #1)Oliver and Erica: When Friends become Lovers

Actually I really should finish my current reads before picking up anything else. They need to be cleared so I can start Diverse December with a clean slate and read all the diverse books I want!
But in case I would finish all my current reads before next Wednesday.. I still hope to pick up these eARC’s since they’ve been on my overview for ages now. [Why am I like this with ARC’s I get from authors.. ugh..]

ARC overview

Imber (Thanatos Trilogy #1)Oliver and Erica: When Friends become LoversThe Girl KingThe Gilded Wolves (The Gilded Wolves, #1)A Pack of Blood and Lies

How has your week been? Did you do something special during the weekend?
What’s on your food planner for the rest of the week?
[I might need some inspiration..]

If you have a WWW-post of your own, feel free to leave it in the comments!

    1. I liked it! But I did feel disconnected from Cash at times and I.. didn’t really like how the girl next door was implemented? She should’ve had more of a spot in the actual story or something. She felt “thrown in there for the sake of it” to me? It’s hard to explain, haha.

  1. Oooh, that’s so exciting about the house!
The Accidental Beauty Queen looks interesting! Was it good?
And I totally feel ya on not getting to ARCs! I have an ARC that released in September and I’m still reading it (well, sorta. I haven’t actually touched it since September, whoops)

    1. I really enjoyed The Accidental Beauty Queen! There’s tons of Harry Potter-references in there and.. well.. I just loved the nerdie POV, haha.
Haha, oops indeed. I’m going to try and finish my current reads asap but I’m really struggling for some reason? Can’t figure out why because I do want to read, but I feel stuck anyway. :’)

      Hopping over right now!

    1. Thanks! I hope they’re all as great as they look, hah. OOH. Puppy! I’d definitely be one of those people, haha. Although I can imagine it would be quite stressful for the pup to be surrounded by new people all the time but.. they’re so cute. 😛
      Thank you!
