As you might have noticed, this person failed a bit the day before yesterday. I thought this post had gone up already, but it hadn’t.. Oops? This move and pregnancy combination is getting to me – that’s for sure, haha. But at least I can still joke about it! So there’s that.
Anyway – let’s talk business! From December 17th until December 26th I participated in the Christmas at Hogwarts read-a-thon. Time to wrap it up and see what books I read! Did I get to join the feast, or didn’t I?
Main activities I wanted to tick off:
CHECK – Finish your coursework ~ Nevernight
CHECK – Have a snowball fight with the Weasley twins ~ The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things
CHECK – Visit 3 Broomsticks for muller pixie wine ~ A Holiday by Gaslight
CHECK – Exchange presents at your Common Room ~ Girl Hearts Girl
CHECK – Fly around snowy Hogwarts grounds ~ Macbeth
Extra activities I enjoyed:
CHECK – Put on your knitted sweater from Molly Weasley ~ Love is not Lost
Wooo, congrats on finishing the challenge!! 😀

You did really well! 🙂 I managed to complete all the challenges, but I haven’t watched the movie either. I’ll probably do that soon though 😄

Thank you!
Haha, I’ll probably be watching them once the little one is born. Can’t imagine I’ll have much energy to do anything but sleep, feed him and.. hopefully read and watch tv, haha. 😛

I made it to the feast this year and had so much fun doing it! It was one of the first readathons where I actively participated in the community, and it was so great to talk to so many other readers.

Awesome!
For some reason I never succeed at being social during readathons? I always disappear into my reading void and pop up at the end of it, haha.

I know, I am hoping we don’t need to wait until April.

Fingers crossed! I haven’t really heard anything yet so far but I might’ve missed it as well, haha. Maybe I should just subtly poke her and ask.. Hm..

Such a mix of books, some Christmas and some not. I hope Nevernight was good, that’s on my TBR!

It definitely was! Takes a while before you actually get into the story and Kristoff’s footnotes are.. weird to get used to, but I absolutely loved it to pieces. 🙂
