It’s time to share next month’s TBR! Although I have no clue how much I’ll be able to read since that depends solely on the little one’s arrival but.. I can only try and set some kind of TBR at this point, right?
As the challenge says, February is all about fantasy. Since 95% of my books are still in boxes, I simply went with the remaining fantasy and picked the ones I’m most keen on reading. Let’s see which ones I’m going to read!
BOOKS I’M DEFINITELY READING
BOOKS I REALLY WANT TO READ AS WELL
BOOKS I MIGHT READ AFTER FINISHING THE PREVIOUS ONES
As I said in yesterday’s reading update, I’m going to finish my current reads first but then? Definitely diving into The Wicked King immediately! I’m hoping to go and visit my mom this weekend, if only because A Curse So Dark And Lonely was delivered there and I really want to read that one immediately after, haha.
Those honestly are the two books that are highest on my fantasy TBR right now. We’ll see which ones I’ll end up reading otherwise!
If anyone feels like following my progress, I’ve made my February TBR-shelf on Goodreads again!
I started January with 5 ARC’s end ended with 5, although two different ones. Not too bad!
What a lovely & fantastic TBR, happy reading, Kathy~!

Ooh I really want to read a V E Schwab book but every one recommends a different one!! I’ve also got an arc of And We Call It Love that I’m excited to crack open soon… this looks like a great month of reading ahead for you!

Haha, I’ve struggled with the same thing! I was planning on reading her older books first, but right now I’m simply.. Eh.. I’m reading whatever I want. 😛
Yes! I don’t know when I’ll be picking that one up yet though. We’ll see. It isn’t due for a while yet anyway. 😀

Yes! Excited for February as I love fantasy! I’m hoping to read The Gilded Wolves, Girls of Paper and Fire, Six of Crows and The Thief (by Megan Whalen Turner) for this prompt! ☺️

I haven’t heard of The Thief yet [looking it up right after answering, haha!], but I loved The Gilded Wolves, Girls of Paper and Fire AND Six of Crows so I’d say you’re in for an amazing reading month! 😀

I would save City of Ghosts for October, it’s that type of book you really want to read in October.

On one hand, yes but on the other hand.. The days are still dark and cold over here so it still feels like a good read for now as well. 🙂

Great TBR. I read Curse So Dark in November and completely loved it. Gave me ACOTAR type vibes. Hope you enjoyed it. I also loved City of Ghosts and Language of Thorns.
I’m legit scared to read Wicked King, so I keep putting it off. I can’t handle those intense cliffhangers lol

Thank you!
Ooh, now that sounds even more promising, haha. I’m already a huge fan of Kemmerer’s writing, but that comparison makes me even more eager to pick it up ASAP.
I haven’t read anything by Schwab yet, so I’m curious to see how City of Ghosts will go. Especially since it’s MG, which I rarely read.
Ha. I feel you, I totally do but.. I know I won’t be able to resist. Although at this point I’m really struggling whether to pick up The Wicked King or A Curse first..

I’m going to be read The Grisha trilogy the Six of Crows Duology and The Language of Thorns for Fantastic February. I also have other challenges that I have to read for so hopefully I can get through all 6 of these books.

Oooh, that’s a whole lot of Bardugo, haha! Hope you enjoy all of them, Misty! Should I know where my Grisha-trilogy was at, I’d probably consider doing the same but alas..
Good luck with your other challenges as well!

Yeah hopefully I do. I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to get all of them read or not because I am taking an unexpected trip to Tennessee today and idk how long I will be gone because my grandpa isn’t doing so good. I’m going to take a couple books with me and hopefully I will be able to get some reading done. Thank you and good luck with your challenges as well.

I like how the three rows of your TBR are kinda divided by colour 😀 And good luck with the reading! And even more luck with the baby 😀

I’m slooowly going through Escaping from Houdini, but I’m picking up A Curse immediately afterwards – no doubt about that, haha!
Finishing series is something a lot of us are bad at.. Ugh..
You too, Marie! ❤

Oooh, that’s awesome! Have fun! 😀
Good to know. I’ve been reading some mixed things about City of Ghosts, but I think it’s mainly because people aren’t used to reading MG-books by Schwab? Could be wrong though.

I’m definitely looking forward to reading Strange the Dreamer and staring the Grisha Trilogy

The Grisha Trilogy has been on my list for AGES. If I knew what books they were in, I’d probably pick them up this month as well but alas.
