It took me a bit longer than usual to get this post up, but it’s here! My next monthly challenge! Although it isn’t really a challenge, especially this time around. As last year, May is all about mood reading. No TBR, no “obliged” reading. Solely following your mood and reading what you want to read!

◊ Post a blog post / comment / Tweet / whatever saying you’ll be joining me in my mood reading spree!
◊ Share your complete TBR and show which one you’re very probably starting Moody May with. Or you can just compile a post / list of the books you’re looking forward to reading most at this moment.
◊ If you’re sharing your updates on social media, use #MoodyMayBM so we can follow up on each other!

It isn’t necessary to dedicate the whole month to my monthly challenges. Our TBR’s are all through the roof so it can already be a challenge to read only one or two books that fit this month’s challenge.
You can still join then! The more the merrier!
Remember, it doesn’t matter how much you read. As long as you have fun reading.
And as long as we can tackle our TBR’s, bit by bit.

  1. I’m not a mood reader. I like to have a set TBR otherwise I don’t read as much. I think for May I’m going to be focusing on reading my review copies and I might throw in a mood read.

    1. I can definitely understand that. I’m simply going to put some of my most anticipated reads in my TBR cart. Seeing that cart every day already motivates me to read anyway – as long as Jamie allows it that is. 🙂

  2. I really admire how you’re just “going with the flow” and not forcing yourself to follow a TBR or read a certain amount of books this coming month. I might try doing so as well, because in the past, I’ve found myself very stressed out due to my struggles with keeping up with an unmanageable monthly TBR!! Anyways, I’m looking forward to this challenge! ❤

    1. That’s why I came up with this challenge! I was noticing how having set TBR’s often had me staring at the books not on my TBR and wishing I could read those. I knew I couldn’t be the only one feeling like that, haha.
I hope you enjoy picking up some random books for once!
