On a remote, icy planet, the soldier known as Breq is drawing closer to completing her quest. Once, she was the Justice of Toren – a colossal starship with an artificial intelligence linking thousands of soldiers in the service of the Radch, the empire that conquered the galaxy. Now, an act of treachery has ripped it all away, leaving her with one fragile human body, unanswered questions, and a burning desire for vengeance.
For all the science fiction-lovers in Belgium.. This is an event for you guys! On November 10th, Waterstones Brussels is hosting a book club to talk about Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie. Do mind you have to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with Women of Sci-Fi Book Club and the title of the book as a subject line! The spots are limited so you have to make sure they know you’re attending.
With everything going on in my life, I’m not attending but.. I don’t think I ever heard of something like this? The main character once being so many and now having only one human body? Consider me intrigued!
If you’re afraid you’ll forget about the event, be sure to save it on Facebook, put yourself as interested – or even better, as present – and definitely let me know all about it afterwards!
What do you think? Is this book your cup of tea? Would you read it?
Or are you adding it to your TBR straight away?
