It’s Wednesday and it can’t be weekend fast enough, if you ask me. The past couple of days have been something with Jamie’s first birthday, a birthday party and then more follow-up appointments after his meningitis. I can’t help but feel like I need a breather so I’m hoping the weekend will give me just that!
Also, more reading time. I definitely want more reading time. But who doesn’t, right?
Talking about reading time.. Let’s see how I did with it the past week!
As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!
Okay, I’m still listening to Caraval but I’m close to finishing it! I think I have less than an hour left (at least if I keep listening on double the speed, haha), so I’m going to dive into Legendary after! I remembered bits and pieces of Caraval but the refresher was needed. I don’t remember a thing about Legendary though, so I really need to reread that one before finally picking up Finale!
I also started my eARC of Jane Fallon’s Queen Bee. I’m not that far in yet, so I’m still keeping my thoughts a secret. We’ll see how it goes! I remember loving her past books, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed to love this one as well.
As for my physical read, I’ve picked up my ARC of Yes No Maybe So. Again, not too far in yet but that’s mainly to my mood not being “contemporary”? We’ll see! Maybe I’ll have read it by next week, maybe I won’t!
I DNF’d Belle Révolte. I wrote a small “review” on it on Goodreads, so feel free to check that out. Better knews is how I finished Supernova and loooved it! It’s also my first “big book” of the year, it being over 500 pages. Whoop! I’m really hoping to tackle more of those big books in 2020.
I’m still sticking with the ARC’s! But I’m also going to pick up Legendary next for a reread.
How many books do you DNF each month?
What’s next on your TBR? What’s your current read?
What’s your most anticipated release of March?
