APPLYING FOR A JOB, EEK. – WWW: March 4th

WWW Wednesday

Okay, no. I’m not applying for a job in this post. Don’t get me wrong – that’d be an entire new kind of “original”. But I did apply for a job at my current employer. It’s “higher up”, but.. most importantly, I feel like the job I’m applying for will give me the challenge I’m craving lately and.. You all just keep your fingers and toes crossed for me okay?
As for other news in the life of this bookish worm.. I don’t know. Nothing much happened. We’re still having a lot of thoughts over what wedding dress I should wear. I still haven’t made up my mind, although I’m leaning towards the gothic-side of things? To make it more me? Then again, I’ll be telling people it’ll be a white dress anyway in two hours or so. Definitely have not made up my mind yet.

Anyway! You’re here for a reading update so let’s get to it!

As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!

Current read

Legendary (Caraval, #2)Yes No Maybe SoOf Curses and Kisses (St. Rosetta's Academy, #1)

I.. started one new book and am still reading two of the books that I was reading last week as well? I’m not too bothered by it. Most of my free time went to Jamie and applying for the above-mentioned job, so…

Finished reading

Queen Bee

Finished this one! Still haven’t really made up my mind about it since.. I don’t know. It was a “meh”-read but I can’t pinpoint the exact reasons quite yet. We’ll see when I get to writing my review!

Reading next

Still on that ARC-train, but I’m also hoping to get a start on my actual March TBR this week. Fingers crossed!

  2. I want to read Yes No Maybe So soon! Waiting on the library to cough up my copy. πŸ™‚

Good luck with the job! And as far as the wedding dress goes, find what YOU like and what’s comfortable. Oh, and make sure your shoes are comfortable, screw the heels! πŸ˜€

    1. Haha, I hope you get it soon!

Thank you! Oh, trust me, I already have my heart set on wearing All Stars with the dress. My OH is going to wear those as well and we’re planning on getting Jamie some too so we’ll have matching shoes at least. πŸ˜›

    2. I love the idea of matching shoes! Especially for Jaime! I’m horribly clumsy and told my mom flat out I couldn’t do heels. A friend found a pair of lace covered Keds (like sneakers but not quite) for me to wear. Saved me because I’d have fallen on my face before I reached the altar in heels. πŸ™‚

    3. I would be able to wear them all day, except for the evening when we’re going out with all our friends to celebrate. [No special evening party for us, just going to our favorite bar] And.. the stairs there are HORRIBLE when you’re in heels so.. Like.. I’m thinking ahead since I probably won’t be all too sober either, haha!

  3. Wedding dresses – oh dear! My 10th wedding anniversary is coming up this year. I remember I thought for ages I was going to go for a red wedding dress (yes, really!), but ended up with quite a fitted lace dress, which was soooo beautiful, but the last thing I had imagined myself wearing! Good luck with finding the right dress πŸ˜‰ Happy reading!

    1. Haha! I honestly started out with the idea of a burgundy dress or a blue one as well. I still haven’t made up my mind about it but.. huge chance of ending up in black maybe? I did fit a real, white wedding dress and although it was absolutely stunning it just didn’t feel like -me- so I’m probably writing off the typical white dress anyway.. I’ll need all the luck I can, I guess. πŸ˜› Thank you!
