I don’t even remember when I last participated in Top Ten Tuesday but, here we are. March 17, 2020 – and I’m back at it! Or at least, for now I am. I won’t be participating every single week since I don’t know whether or not I’ll have the time. Let alone the themes speaking to me yes or no. So, we’ll see! For now, I do know I’ll be skipping next week already but.. Maybe not? We’ll see! Anyway. It’s good to be back. I know the TTT-lovers are real and I hope to get talking to all of you again!
So, let’s see what books I’m definitely reading and hoping to read: “Books I put on my Spring TBR”.
All covers link back to Goodreads if you feel like checking them out.
These first five books are actually all ARC’s I need to read [or should have read already]. So, basically I really want to get on top of these this Spring. Fingers crossed! Here’s the list with the genres:
Of Silver and Shadow by Jennifer Gruenke ~ YA fantasy with LGBTQIA+ rep
The Raven and the Dove by Kaitlyn Davis ~ YA fantasy retelling of Tristan and Isolde
Salty, Bitter, Sweet by Mayra Cuevas ~ YA contemporary with [hopefully] lots of food!
Finding Balance by Kati Gardner ~ YA contemporary, sequel to Brave Enough
Beach Read by Emily Henry ~ Contemporary romance
The next five books are all books I already own – be it physical copies or digital ones – and I should have read by now. I’m currently rereading / listening to Legendary so I’m hoping to jump on Finale the moment I finish my current read. We’ll see though! As for A Darker Shade of Magic? You all know I should’ve read those books by now. 2020 is the year that’ll happen – I promise!
Things my Son Needs to Know About the World by Fredrik Backman ~ Nonfiction, memoir, parenting
Finale by Stephanie Garber ~ YA fantasy
Damaged Like Us by Krista Ritchie ~ NA romance, contemporary with LGBTQIA+ rep
Bad For the Boss by Talia Hibbert ~ Adult romance
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab ~ Adult fantasy
What do you think?
Am I reading any books you still have on your TBR as well? Which ones?
In what order would you read my TBR? First ARC’s? Switch between the two?
Really loved Finale! Hope you will too!

You should! I’ve only read her MG horror books so far but I’m keen to dive into her other work.

Thank you! I got that one from my secret santa who knew I have a baby boy so I was touched when I got that book, haha! Let’s hope reading it won’t have me crying as hard as A Man Called Ove did…

Um… you’ll laugh more, but I can’t promise you won’t cry as well…

A Darker Shade of Magic is one of my favorite series, hope you enjoy that one! Also, you remind me that I haven’t read Legendary and Finale yet despite loving Caraval, so hopefully I read it during spring 🙂

I hope so too! I’ve seen so many people raving about those books.. I’ll be bummed if I end up not loving it equally as much, haha.
