I was going to stop requesting books and.. I did, for the most part. But I recently [like two weeks ago, oops] got approved for one of my MOST anticipated sequels and I just had to share! And since I had another, older request approved as well.. And then the eARC of the streetteam I’m part of arrived in my inbox..
Time to put these books in the spotlight, yes?!
As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!

He never meant to stay.
He certainly never meant to fall in love…
Summer Island off the coast of Norway was the place London chef Jack Greene should have been from. He’s an outsider in the community that should have been his family, and now he’s setting foot on the strange land he has inherited for the first time.
The welcome is a mix of distrust and strange gifts of food, especially from enigmatic Ninni Toft, his nearest neighbour, who has arrived for the season to get over a broken heart. Her wild spirit and irrepressible enthusiasm for the quirky locals are a heady brew for city-boy Jack, who is discovering the simple pleasures of island life – and what it means to belong. To a place. To a people. To one person in particular…
Home is where the heart is, but is Jack’s heart with the career he left behind in London, or on the wind-swept shores of Summer Island, with Ninni?

Pain and hatred consume Tarik, the hot-headed Fae whose addiction to fighting shifters could be the death of him. Stuck in a city ruled by dragons, seeking vengeance is his only mission.
As a shifter, and the city’s Night Enforcer, Reagan’s job is to stop him. She quickly learns that trouble follows him at every turn, and keeping him alive leads her to make decisions that may have deadly consequences.
When a disastrous event forces these long-standing enemies to unravel a sinister plot, prejudice must be pushed aside. And lurking beneath the hatred is something neither of them are prepared for.
I requested Summer Island knowing full well I always get in this fluffy romance-mood when the weather turns all summer-y so.. I wanted to stock up on a bit of that exact kind of books? The cover looks cute too so I think I’m in for a fun one!
And then the book I was keeping my fingers and toes crossed for.. The Damned by Renée Ahdieh. If you’ve read my review of The Beautiful, you know I really adored it, apart for a thing or two. I’m really looking forward to maybe see more vampires this time around! Also, I should totally read more of her older work.. So far I’ve read Flame in the Mist and The Beautiful – that’s it. Oops.
Last, but definitely not least is the very anticipated ARC of Dusk till Dawn! I’m on the streetteam for this one and I couldn’t be happier about getting to read this book. I loved Tyffany Hackett’s Imber and Tellus so I’m all here for seeing how a story will go when she colaborates with another author.
As you can see, my ARC-TBR has exploded a bit.. Need to fix this, and I will!
But.. Until then.. Which of my three new acquisitions would you want yourself?
Or is there another ARC you’ve set your sights on?
