What would you do if your family decided to set you up on ten blind dates? Would you run and hide? Would you take the challenge? Or would you rather read this book about just that?
Fourth challenge of the year is here! Contemporary books everywhere. Every-where I tell you! Are you ready to join me? To participate? To read those fluffy contemporaries? Or the less fluffy ones?
A contemporary take on Beauty and the Beast - which means there's another fairytale retelling coming your way with my review all over it! Or something like that. In any case - find out whether I'll be picking up more of Sandhya's books or not in this post.
A cute story about a social media war on Twitter, loads of baked goods and.. some tense family dynamics to top things off. My thoughts? Find out!
Stories about rape survivors exist - I've read some of them. Stories like this one? About the brutal and bloody revenge of a survivor? It's the first time I've read one like it. Definitely worth reading my review, if you ask me.
I don't really shy away from harder, tougher reads, but I practically JUMPED for this one. The Sky Is Mine has a lot of taboo subjects, but the book itself is definitely one to talk about. Shout about even.
If you hadn't heard - I have this love for Jenn Bennett's contemporary ya and here is another review! [Totally need to read more of her books, I know.]
