Grief is hard to read about, even more so if it's the loss of a sibling. But there's so much more to this story than just that which makes it worth reading even more so. Definitely one to pick up! But.. read my review first maybe?

I was totally in the mood for a whimsical, circus-y setting and was told Daughter of the Burning City would deliver on that front. Unfortunately.. there were definitely some downsides to this novel..

I honestly cannot believe I waited this long to read The Upside of Unrequited. It's not like I didn't want to read it, I simply didn't get around to it? Other books kept distracting me and now I'm blaming all those books for keeping me from this precious, little gem. I fell in love, you guys.
