I decided to pick up a Middle Grade-novel - City of Ghosts - knowing I'm a wuss and expecting it to creep me out. It did! Which.. made me conclude Schwab would definitely succeed at creeping me out in a YA novel. For sure.
I took a while to read this trilogy, but I'm honestly.. happy to say I've both started and finished all three books in a little over a month's time! I've had these for quite some time now and, because I'm very interested in Kiersten White's The Conqueror's Saga, decided to finally give them a shot! But did I like them? Or do I wish I hadn't read them at all?
I've mentioned her a couple of times on my blog, and it's time for another one. Chelscey Clayton, author of The Monster of Selkirk-series, is one of the first authors I had a closer connection with. Her book was the first one I won since starting my blog and it claimed a special piece of my heart. Safe to say that when Chelscey recommended Angelfall to me, I had to buy myself a copy! And two months ago now I actually read it as well! The only thing we can do, right now, is hope it's better than the disappointment of Out of the Blue..
