Contemporary read, baked goods on the cover, mention of a cafe and.. there's a bookstore involved as well? HOW COULD I RESIST?
I read some short books lately, so I decided to do another bunch of mini reviews! Here are my short reviews on The Last Train, Fawn and A Holiday by Gaslight!
It's a fact I'm not afraid to dwell in different genres than YA contemporary and fantasy, but it's not often I actually dive into anything smut-ish or steamy. Now that I think about it.. It's usually around December I start dwelling into those genres? Anyway. Since those novels are often short ones, I decided to do some mini-reviews!
I'm a sucker for musicians, let alone the rock-kind. For some reason, those always give me the bad boy vibes I can hardly ever say no to. Guess I don't even have to explain why I couldn't say no to this cover / novel either, right?
I wanted something light, romantic and hopefully funny. I was really keeping my fingers crossed for that latter one since my last attempt at a humorous read failed horribly. Did this novel succeed at fulfilling my needs? Only one way to find out!
With Christmas coming closer and closer, it's time to read some cozy Christmas-reads once in a while.. So why not read about a Christmas in New York? Especially since it's a city I'd love to see during Winter one day! Let's see how I liked this romance, huh?
I read this novel back in August, so to say I've been sitting on it for a while is an understatement. With it's release being upon us, it was definitely time to share this little diamond with all of you. As you know, I do like reading romance once in a while, and this is one of those books that simply intrigued me right from the start. Romance in December? I'm a sucker for that! But... am I a sucker for One Day in December as well?
