I wanted something light, romantic and hopefully funny. I was really keeping my fingers crossed for that latter one since my last attempt at a humorous read failed horribly. Did this novel succeed at fulfilling my needs? Only one way to find out!
With Christmas coming closer and closer, it's time to read some cozy Christmas-reads once in a while.. So why not read about a Christmas in New York? Especially since it's a city I'd love to see during Winter one day! Let's see how I liked this romance, huh?
I read this novel back in August, so to say I've been sitting on it for a while is an understatement. With it's release being upon us, it was definitely time to share this little diamond with all of you. As you know, I do like reading romance once in a while, and this is one of those books that simply intrigued me right from the start. Romance in December? I'm a sucker for that! But... am I a sucker for One Day in December as well?
Today's one of those days were something rare happens: I'm part of a blog tour. I rarely do that, but I really wanted to share this book because I believe it to be one of a kind. Set in South Africa - more specifically Cape Town - I was intrigued immediately. I love romance novels set in different countries outside of the "ordinary" London and Paris ones. Romance in Africa? Count me in!
Two estranged sisters forced to swap homes and lives - will they work things through or will this be the definite end of their almost non-existing relationship?
Review "One Summer in Rome" by Samantha Tonge.
I'm a sucker for love stories set in London or Paris - one the city I love, the other the city of love. The reason for picking up Paris Ever After was no different. The title and the cover drew me in and wouldn't let me go! But did it live up to my magical expectations and hopes?
