I got an ecopy of this book MONTHS ago and for some reason never picked it up. Do I even have to say how stupid I'm feeling? I should've picked it up way sooner. Way, way sooner!
Starfish has been recommended to me by a ton of people - the most persistent one being Marie - so I'm happy to say I finally read it and I'm so happy all of you pushed me to read it! I knew I was going to like it, but it still managed to blow all my expectations to pieces. That and this book ended up meaning the world to me. Easily one of my favorites so far!
I've owned this book for a while, which caused me to forget what it was about. Since Sara Barnard is coming to YALC, I knew I had to read it before then so I decided to pick it up. Suddenly I remembered. Social anxiety, deafness, sign language. I was bound to love this book.
My review on "A Vicarage Christmas" by Kate Hewitt.
