January Jam Jar is dedicated to two things, being those readers who are able to use a jar to decide their next read and the books we really wanted to read in 2018 but didn't succeed at. Putting those together, we get a month where we'll try and use a TBR jar filled with the books we desperately wanted to have read by now!
As you might know - or might now find out about - there's another Magical Readathon coming our way very soon! Christmas-related, might I add! Harry Potter-related, might I shout! Can you see how ready am I for this? I'm not that far off from shouting this off the roofs, to be honest. I love-love-love Book Roast's Magical Readathons, so I can't pass up on this one either.
I'm using today's post to wrap up the whole reason I'm off schedule on my IT-readalong. The Charms: Extra Credit Readathon! I couldn't say no to this one and I realize this has caused me to neglect IT. I just wanted to get all the books read, true Hermione-style, in order to get some April-advantages. As if you can blame me for that! But.. Did I succeed?
You might remember how I participated in Book Roast's Magical Readathons earlier this year as well. I focused on getting both my O.W.L.'s and N.E.W.T.'s, having tons of fun while doing so! Because.. admit it.. who doesn't like the feeling of actually attending Hogwarts in one way or another? I know I do! Which is definitely why I pretty much started screaming when I saw a new YouTube-video appear to announce the possibility of gaining extra credit for next year's O.W.L.'s!
As I announced a little while back, I participated in Liza @ Dusk Angel Reads' TBR Jar Readathon. It started July 2nd and ended yesterday right before midnight. Those of you who checked out my weekly WWW-post know I was really struggling with reading. Did I get out of the slump entirely? Maybe partly? Or not at all?
The awesome Liza @ Dusk Angel Reads is hosting the TBR Jar ReadAThon and I'm so ready to participate! I used a TBR jar back in January and.. well.. it worked, but a month was way too long to use a jar for a mood-reader as I am. Which is why I'm definitely excited to do it for only a week, hah!
TBR vs. TBR jar vs. mood reading: what's your style?
