Once in a while, a thriller comes along and I have this hope of it being a pageturner. THEN SHE VANISHES did NOT disappoint on that account because I had to find all the excuses to continue my read!
I've read and loved a bunch of C.C. Hunter's older work - including the Shadow Falls-series and This Heart of Mine - which I actually reviewed earlier this year! To say Hunter has a special place in my bookworm-heart is.. an understatement? I simply can't help but get all enthusiastic the moment I hear there's something new being released in the future and.. it was no different this time around.
Time to introduce you - or reintroduce to the people who joined last year - to Monstrous March, a month of reading monstrous books! Are you ready?!
I got this eARC through the publisher and was so keen to jump right in. You all know thrillers aren't my usual kind of book to pick up, but.. sometimes I just can't help myself, ha. I guess you could say it's one of those guilty pleasures, in a way? But was it truly a pleasure this time around?
When you're living with mental abuse, most of the time there's only two ways go. Either you slowly destroy yourself, letting yourself become what the other wants you to be or you stand up and fight for the things you want to protect, for yourself, your life.
It's the last day of March, which means it's time to set next month's TBR! Thriller, horror, suspense novels.. Oh, and an author meet and WAY TOO MANY ARC'S.
I love my monthly challenges - so here's my reading challenge for April! Check it out!
