I honestly didn't really know what to do with today's freebie until I looked at all the post ideas I listed a while ago and.. decided this is the perfect time to look back at this past year. Since starting my blog in June 2017, a lot has happened and changed in my life but.. there have also been changes blog-wise! What better time to look back at those things and cherish them a bit more than at the end of the year with this post, am I right?
Two weeks ago, I talked about some - in my opinion - dark and scary books. This time, I'm going to talk about some movies that make me think of Halloween. One because it legitimately freaked me out for weeks, another one because of it's dark atmosphere and others because they simply gave me those Halloween-vibes.
Last week, I shared some scary and dark books. This week, I'm going to talk about some of my favorite magical creatures and the books they feature in. They're not necessarily dark or halloween-ish, but they definitely have the capability to be! It all depends on the author, I'd say, ha.
I'm going to mess TTT up for the entirety of October, simply because I want to do something different, but don't want to miss out on TTT's either. In a way, I'm still doing TTT-ish posts, simply not.. the prompts that are given to us? You know me by now; I like doing things my own way, ha. So, this means that in the name of October, the holy month of Halloween, I'm going to try and make my posts a bit "darker", so to speak. And we're starting today!
Today's topic is supposed to be "Books By My Favorite Authors That I Still Haven’t Read" but, as per usual.. I'm going with something else: "Why Have I Not Read these?!"! Have to say, there are different reasons as to why I haven't read these books yet. Either because the hype is real and I want to wait until it's cooled off a bit, or because.. well.. I've seen some reviews that made me less eager to read them. Or - most used and known reason - because the books disappeared in my endless mountain of unread books...
I know, I know. Those of you who check the future TTT-prompts might go all "What are you doing?! This is one for next month!" and I realize that. I do. I'm doing this on purpose because I'm planning something different for October, but didn't want to pass on this particular prompt!
