Stories about rape survivors exist - I've read some of them. Stories like this one? About the brutal and bloody revenge of a survivor? It's the first time I've read one like it. Definitely worth reading my review, if you ask me.
Sky in the Deep's companion novel is here and so is my review! Check it out and let me know whether or not you'd read these books / this book!
I read a lot of fantasy, but not so much fantasy set in earlier times. Should I read more of it, after reading Sky in the Deep? Or should I just stay clear from YA historical fantasy from now on? Find out!
Part two of a queer science ficion duology - and it's time to review it! Spoilers for the first one. And another spoiler: I liked it better than the first book too!
I was in total awe of the cover the first time I stumbled upon The Gilded Wolves. As you all know, I'm usually not that big on historical fiction but.. First the cover, then the blurb and.. I was sold?
I didn't remember a thing about this novel when I finally picked it up. I love the cover - that's for sure. But any memories regarding the content of the book? No clue whatsoever! Sometimes that's the best way to start reading, sometimes it isn't. What was it this time? Let's find out!
The Raging Ones had been on my ARC-TBR for quite some time before I finally went and picked it up. Having read the blurb, I was immediately intrigued by the thought of people knowing their death days, not to mention the very rare few who dodged theirs. I'm still not sure whether or not I'd want to know my own death day, to be honest. Would you?
